About this year’s conference – United in Mission
All men with a desire to serve the LORD faithfully in church office are invited and encouraged to attend this year’s conference on February 6 & 7, 2026 at the Trinity URC of St. Catharines, ON.
Our keynote speakers for this year will be Dr. Bryan Chapell, President Emeritus of Covenant Theological Seminary and Dr. Barry York, President of the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Together, they will be speaking on the theme United in Mission with a view towards uniting our congregations’ office-bearers and members in the cause of the kingdom.

Speakers
Dr. Bryan Chapell
Having served as pastor in various PCA churches, as Professor of Homiletics and President of Covenant Theological Seminary, and most recently as the Stated Clerk of the PCA, Dr. Bryan Chapell’s passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ has been a rich blessing to Christ’s church. Chapell has authored several influential books that continue to inspire and enlighten readers. Notably, his groundbreaking work, Christ-Centered Preaching: Redeeming the Expository Sermon, has become a staple for pastors and preachers in many institutions and nations, offering insights into proclaiming Christ from all of Scripture for the whole of life. He has also authored helpful books such as Each for the Other: Marriage As It’s Meant to Be, Holiness By Grace: Delighting in the Joy That Is Our Strength, Praying Backwards: Transform Your Prayer Life By Beginning in Jesus’ Name, and most recently, The Multigeneration Church Crisis: Why We Don’t Understand Each Other and How to Unite in Mission. Dr. Chapell and wife, Kathy, have four adult children and a growing number of grandchildren.
Dr. Barry York
After more than two decades in church planting, Dr. Barry York became the professor of pastoral theology and dean of faculty at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary; and in 2018, he became the seminary’s president. In addition to his work at RPTS, Dr. York is also involved with the church planting work at River Valley Reformed Church in Monaca, PA, writes regularly for the blog Gentle Reformation, co-hosts the 3 Guys Theologizing podcast, and is the general editor of the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Journal. Barry and his wife, Miriam, have six children and five grandchildren. Dr. York recently authored Hitting the Marks: Restoring the Essential Identity of the Church, a book in which he helps readers to better understand the marks that characterize the true church of Christ.
